theSHED Hair Studio

I just had my first visit at theSHED, and I definitely found my new hair home. I was greeted warmly and offered a drink upon arrival (thanks, Jose!). The people and the place have a cool vibe. Conversation was fun and flowed which makes the salon experience more enjoyable. Music was on point, too. Kim is incredible! She listened to and honored my preferences, but also offered insight and suggestions based on my hair type and lifestyle. Thank you to Emily as well who helped with my hair treatment and blow dry. My hair looks amazing and feels even better. Thanks to all for an awesome experience! Looking forward to future visits. UPDATE 2/2025: Kim is a wizard with coloring. Her work is amazing. The studio still has the best vibe—chill atmosphere, great music, and cool people to chat with. My hair feels healthier and looks amazing. Kim consistently delivers stunning results.

Jose was really great, knew exactly what he was doing. I went in pretty much unprepared, but he understood the assignment perfectly and nailed it.

I cannot say enough good things about The Shed Hair Studio! I came to them after an absolute disaster at another salon where my hair was severely over-processed and butchered with a terrible cut. I was feeling so down about myself, but from the moment I walked into The Shed, I was greeted with warmth and kindness like I had known everyone for years. Jose worked his magic on my haircut and fixed it as best as anyone possibly could. He’s amazing — so talented and knowledgeable. You can tell he genuinely cares about his clients and their confidence. Everyone in the salon was so supportive and kept reassuring me that my short cut looked great on me, which meant more than they know. Ari, the salon apprentice, did my color and she is a gem! Our consultation was thorough, and she made sure we were completely on the same page before starting. I really appreciated how many questions she asked and how invested she was in understanding my hair goals. Jose was there every step of the way, making sure everything turned out perfect. Sitting in Ari’s chair felt like catching up with a good friend — we laughed, chatted, and the experience was genuinely fun. And while Kim hasn’t done my hair yet, she was so sweet and welcoming, I had to give her a shoutout too! You can tell this salon is a family. The energy is positive, genuine, and supportive. They’ve gained a client for life in me. I won’t trust my hair with anyone else again!

Kimberly was amazing! She asked me a lot of questions about my preferences and gave suggestions. She definitely knew what she was doing especially for curly hair and I'm very happy with the cut!
