"Great spot in Bushwick ~ the space is beautiful and each stylist will take the time to figure out what service is right for you. I've gotten a curly cut by the salon owner, Ana. I get so many compliments on my shape and I love that there is no additional charge for a curly cut with her! I've also gotten a silk press by Drenusha and my hair reverted (after washing) with no heat damage. It's hard to find a salon with stylists that are comfortable with all hair textures and I'm so glad this space has options"

"What I can’t say about Mallard’s would be the question, I can sit here and rant all day. I’ve been seeing Ana for years after getting her contact information from a random stranger who had the most amazing curly cut. Ana is not just a stylist she an artist. After she did my hair color and highlights I have had people try to touch my hair, asking how she got that color so right lol But what really stands out about Ana is her energy, for some reason she calms me, Mallard feels like a zen and actually has became “My Zen” You walk in and feel an instant change in your mood, from the lighting, the smell, the deco not forgetting the art! Oh yeah let’s not forget the coffee, the coffee I look forward to lol If you’re looking for a hair stylist who takes the time to listen to you, and make you fall in love with your hair over and over again, look no further."
