"I was gifted a highlight & haircut experience here which I was beyond excited about. My last highlights were in the winter last year and a fresh haircut was in February & I toned my highlights to my base color, so I can start fresh again… I’ve been growing my hair since 🦋 the person who I had set up an appointment had an emergency, so I ended up having Bruna as my stylist. 🦋 the place is very beautiful with great lighting, plants, good music 🦋 staff were friendly & welcoming . 🦋 when I first came in there was so no one to greet me, I waited patiently until I said something to the barber & he said someone will be with me shortly… finally bruna greeted me . 🦋I wanted honey light caramel highlights with hair cut too give me volume 🦋 she started with the hair cut first (dry cut?) and then the coloring & all. I was there from 11am until 3pm 🦋I got served a delicious chai latte and a packet of cashews . They have clean bathrooms. 🦋 in the end I felt very rushed & a bit frustrated because the color wasn’t as I’d hoped or showed in the photos, and she said a few times that she can’t correct my hair cut from my previous cuts in one day… yet I was there from 11-3pm 🦋 overall very nice place, I definitely recommend, I just recommend someone with more experience with color and hair cuts.. I’m happy to have experienced this place as a gift, very blessed, I was such hoping for a better finale look. But I’m satisfied 🦋I also got hair products that I’m very excited to try! Thank you"

"Had a great last-minute experience with Jay for a hair color as I had a wedding a few weeks ago. She was able to squeeze me in, still as a first time client, and provided truly a wonderful color service! I was hoping to find someone to quickly touch up my hair near by, as my previous stylist is a bit further away, and Jay and the whole team at Gem House provided truly a relaxing, safe, warm experience. Jay is a master at coloring and I was blown away with the results! She worked quickly and quietly, but was still incredibly friendly and made sure she got to know me and made me feel welcomed. I will 100% be coming back for a touch up in a few months!"
