Having researched, Scalp Micro, Pigmentation schools nationwide for over a year, I decided that I wanted small in person classes with hands-on training and experience with real people, not virtual lessons. Upon reading about Dennis Romero, and his school, Vanguard SMP, and watching Dennis on a podcast, I felt Dennis would be the best choice for me. I was right. We had the pleasure of meeting with Dennis Romero recently for a consultation at Vangard SMP to discuss “disguising”the scar left from hair transplants that now are visible due to hair loss on one side. Dennis is very professional while being very personable and caring. No high pressured sales tactics. His professional record speaks for itself. He answered all of the many questions thrown at him with great patience and understanding! After deciding to go with his proposal and placing a refundable deposit, due to personal constraints, I had to cancel the appointment and follow up treatment. Dennis may have been disappointed but did not let that interfere with respecting my decision. He went above and beyond in returning my deposit as their office systems were down that day. Dennis was in regular contact until we both had confirmation of the deposit return. That speaks to his integrity and professionalism. I am an 83 year old retired professional myself and I recognize those qualities. While this treatment is not an option for me, I would not hesitate to recommend it and Dennis as my technician.

Dennis is the entrepreneur and owner behind Vanguard SMP, and he is also the artist that takes care of your hair. I absolutely love Dennis to tears, because he’s such a good guy, very accommodating, and he really goes out of the way to make sure that you’re satisfied, including considering extra visits after your initial process. I’m starting to see more results and it’s a slow process, but I have a hairline that looks a lot more fuller, as I didn’t shave my head, but Dennis strategically covers the growing bald spots with his SMP procedure to make the hair look fuller. And the more times I see him the darker his technique gets so he doesn’t do it too dark in the beginning where it looks fake. He takes the time because he cares about his craft like an artist. Reasonable price in a very nice location in Winter Park. I highly recommend Dennis and I plan to continue using his services. My advice is if you’re doing something similar to me to eventually get on Propecia to avoid continue hair loss while continuing the SMP until the hair looks a lot more full. This is a slow process and not an instant gratification; be advised.
