"Met CHRISTINA WATSON (Loft 23) for the first time and this was literal THERAPY for me. I'm a curly-haired man in my early 30s who's just recently started experiencing the horrors of male pattern hair loss and losing the long, thick curls in the front has been so painful. I've been terrified of getting a cut and the result was a head of hair that desperately needed a one. As SOON as I walked into the salon, Chris was there to greet me incredibly warmly and I felt immediately at ease. I told her my story and concerns and hopes and everything and she gave me tons of great advice and kind words and just really made me feel like things were going to be OK, which I really needed to hear. I cannot stress how above and beyond she went - I've never had a hair stylist that felt like she cared so very much, I really appreciated it. The cut felt great, she has experience working with curly hair, and I could tell. My scalp and hair felt SO good, the entire experience was therapeutic both emotionally and physically. She understood the importance of how to shape the hair to fit the shape of the head and the result was a cut that made me feel SO much lighter without losing the volume that I'm trying to hold onto. I feel like I look younger too!!! Which was a very nice surprise, haha. Also, she even gave me a bottle of styling product for free!!! Such kindness and generosity. She is such a sweetheart and the kindest person, legitimately the best haircut experience I've ever had. I'm looking forward to continuing my hair journey and figuring out exactly how I want my hair to look until I find something I'm perfectly happy with; I trust Chris to help me get to that point, and I have confidence she can help you do the same. :)"
