"I'm a repeat customer. I got knottless box braids in July and just recently took them down. On my initial visit Tashia asked about the look I was trying to achieve. She examined my hair and educated me on the size and length of braid that would protect my edges (which I greatly appreciated). She did a sample braid and price was stated up front. In the past with other braided styles including knottless my head would ache and the first few days would be awful. This is not the case with Tashia, she is gentle and I experienced very little if any discomfort on the day of and following install. I'm pleased to say that I was still getting compliments on week 8 with several people questioning why I wasn't going to keep them longer. Minimal shedding and breakage occurred when I took them down (edges intact). I'm a return customer and just had my second appointment with Tashia yesterday. I've found my braider!!!"

"I can't say enough good things about my recent box braids installment at African Hair Braiding by Tashia! From the moment I walked in, Tasha's hospitality was truly exceptional. I'm Caucasian with silky, fine, yet very abundant elbow-length hair, which I know can be a challenge for some braiders. But Tashia didn't even bat an eye! There was no hesitation, no questioning if she could do it; she immediately got to work. Throughout the entire process, which, as anyone who gets box braids knows, can take hours, Tasha was constantly checking in, reassuring me that I was comfortable and doing okay. Her attentiveness made the time fly by. And the results? Absolutely stunning! My box braids are perfect and will last a lifetime in the photos from my engagement party.
